an exceptional orthopaedic surgeon with whom I have had the privilege to be a patient of Dr. Andrea Veljkovic. She demonstrates outstanding clinical expertise, precise surgical skills, and a deep commitment to patient care. Her ability to communicate clearly with me and collaborate effectively withstood. St. Paul’s nurses and anesthesiologists consistently leading to excellent outcomes. Dr. Andrea Veljkovic approached my case with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. I witnessed how highly respected she is by colleagues and trusted by me for her and thorough assessments, evidence-based decision-making, and dedication to achieving the best possible results. Always a good experience at St. Paul hospital. Staff from ER to in house treat people with respect and actual care. Doctor and nurse are a bit in a rush at ER but never pushy. But again what do you expect. It’s a ER after all. If you were transferred to in patient which I wish most people don’t, nurse and staff here treat you better than you mom most of time. This is the only hospital I ever got a call back after ER visit just to check on you. Before and after surgery doctors and nurses come by multiple times to make sure all your questions and concerns are answered. Everyone introduces themselves to you and explains their role they play. I am very confident leaving my health to any of the staff here at St. Paul.

I would like to sincerely thank the doctors and nurses in the emergency department. I could see how crowded and overwhelming the ER was, and how incredibly busy everyone was. Even under such pressure, the doctors and nurses remained professional, gentle in their tone, and very thorough during the examination. The doctor was also very understanding of a mother’s worry when her child is sick. He/She patiently explained everything and was willing to wait while a friend helped translate, which meant so much to me. That kindness and empathy truly brought comfort during a stressful moment. I am deeply grateful for the care and dedication you showed. Thank you for your hard work — please take care, and keep going. ❤️
