What patients are actually saying
We did not know what to expect when we arrived for the showing. The Technician that completed the 3D Ultrasound was absolutely wonderful. Her interaction throughout the entire showing was instrumental in the quality of the process and she made it a lot of fun with her knowledge and humour. We had brought in over ten people and there was much laughter throughout the event.
My experience at 3d Sono Image was amazing!! I am so happy that we decided to go with this company to see our baby! We got to bring in our family and we all got to enjoy the experience together.. we all will definitely recommend 3d Sono Image for other expectant mothers!! Excellent excellent experience!! Great service!! Thanks 3d Sono Image! For allowing us to view our baby girl in a way we never thought possible!
After having been in some hospitals and professional labs for other ultrasounds we were taken aback by the small and informal size of the facility but once inside the ultrasound room were very impressed with the "theatre-like" setup. The technician was lovely and very helpful, explaining things as they happened, it was so neat to get a glimpse of the baby which has been kicking away from inside! Thankyou.

Frequently asked questions
Is 3D Sono Image a medical clinic?
No — this is a Class C keepsake / 3D-4D ultrasound facility. They do not perform diagnostic ultrasounds. Recreational scans only (3D/4D images, gender reveal). Not suitable for medical concerns.
When is the best time for a 3D/4D scan?
For 3D/4D fetal scans, 26-32 weeks gestational age is the sweet spot. Earlier than 24 weeks features are not well-defined; later than 34 weeks baby is too crowded for clear images.
Will this scan be reported to my doctor?
No — keepsake scans are non-medical. They do not screen for medical issues. You should still have your regular medical anatomy scan (~18-20 weeks) with a DAP-accredited diagnostic clinic.
How much does a 3D/4D session cost?
Typical 3D/4D keepsake packages: $150-$400 depending on session length and media included (digital download, USB, framed prints).
Can MSP cover this?
No. MSP never covers keepsake / 3D-4D / non-medical ultrasound. Always private-pay.
