BC Children's Hospital - Satellite Echocardiography Laboratory - Surrey Memorial Hospital

My dad has been very ill for the past year and has been in the ICU a few times now. The staff here are incredible. He is so well taken care of and I feel like they really care about their patients. Every occasion my dad gets admitted into the ICU, I trust that he will be in good hands. The nurses here are incredibly knowledgeable and are very good at informing us on how dad is doing. Thank you for all that you do 💜

I recently had to go in to have nuclear imagery done and at the same time have skin and lymph nodes removed. The experience was incredibly positive. The technician I dealt with in the nuclear imagery department was amazing, (sorry I forgot her name) she was super friendly and she went out of her way to explain the procedure and to make sure I was comfortable. After she walked to where I had to have surgery. The surgery department was excellent as well. They explained everything that was going to be happening to me. There were a number of healthcare workers that came by (nurses, doctors, and the Anesthesiologist) to explain their part in the procedure. Each one was friendly and informative. The doctor even came up with a plan to make my surgery less invasive by removing lymph nodes from where the initial surgery was taking place instead of making more incisions under the arms. Because of that they didn’t have to put me completely under, just sedated me and froze the area. The surgery went smoothly and I was ready to go home within an hour of the completion of surgery. I was very impressed with the care I received at Surrey Memorial Hospital! Thank you to all the personnel that were involved.

We ended up at emergency today at Surrey Memorial. I would like to express just how grateful we are for the doctors on today. Feb 20 2026. The amount of attention, care, empathy was outstanding. The bedside manner and general attitude was top shelf. She needed some specific care and the team of doctors, nurses, residents etc were all superb. So thank you for such great care from all the folks at Surrey Memorial over the past 2 days!! 🫶🏼 The Haley's
